Goshen Implement was founded in the early 1930's before World War II, serving as a truck and tractor sales dealership. There was a fire in the late 50’s, putting employees out of work for multiple months while they rebuilt. In the mid 80’s, Interstate Equipment bought the business. It remained in the same location under the Goshen Implement name in town until 1992.
The store was closed for two to three months while they moved to a new location south of the old store. They conducted business there for five years before Archbold Equipment Company purchased Goshen Implement in 1997. They operated in the same building in Goshen until General Manager Daryl Nofziger purchased a hand tools shop and acreage 20 miles to the east of the store. They built on to that building, adding what is today’s service shop first, before moving into what is the current location near Topeka one year later in December of 1998.
